This review is for a Teardrop Storm Glass
The glass is approximately 5 inches tall and is partially filled with the liquid and crystals.
The instructions stated that the unit should be placed in an area away from sunlight and not close to an air conditioner - obviously to keep it away from drastic changes. When I received it the weather was very cold and at first glance there were a lot of crystals.
As time went on the crystals settled to the bottom of the glass.....and just stayed there. The instructions state that it could take 1-2 weeks for the crystals to be come acclimated to their new home so I set up a time lapse camera to keep tabs on the little guys. Please excuse the blurriness - I tried to set the camera up as best as I could.
As you can see from the time lapse, I got very little response from the crystals. This time lapse was for approximately 14 days and the weather was anywhere from the 60+ degrees and very nice to 0 degrees and a downright blizzard (welcome to Colorado!).
The instructions show there should have been a marked change in the crystals based on the weather changes I experienced.
At this point I will simply place this little glass on a shelf and see what happens.
